Over my MA at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance I ran a research project using music from the classical music canon investigating how much the individual can express what they hear, what moves them , and how much the group can come to a consensus to express what they hear. I am interested in participants showing their individual response to music and listening deeply, showing what they feel and notice through movement.

In 2024 I was awarded Greenhouse funding from Chisenhale Dance Space to develop my Kitchen Dancing Project , I led two WTF Thursdays at Chisenhale and led a Chat Room at Rambert’s The Playground asking questions around dancing whilst no-one is watching and the importance of domestic dancing and whose gaze is it for?
